Achievements

Mentioned project is successfully completed under Master study in Interaction design (Game Design) from University of Arts, Zürich Switzerland in 2016.

With game play, I provided two days workshops for Kindergarten and schools, where I interact through Museum Magic Box and motivate them to understand art during museum visits. 

About Museum Mania Magic Box

This Magic Box contains play box «Find me» is a cooperative game based on permanent art and sculpture collections of famous artists like Pablo Picasso, Wassily Kandinsky Van Gogh, Robert Delaunay, Giovanni Segantini and others from Kunsthaus Zürich, Switzerland. 

Research behind Design

This project was focused on making stereotype art museum visits playful to achieve the significant art experiences during my Master study in Interaction design from University of Arts Zurich in 2016.

The Museum Mania Magic Box, was designed for art museums in three steps: preparation, play and create to bring diversity to art education. It is an analogue cooperative multiplayer game based on the simple mechanics “seek and find” for families and elementary school children, and it can be played at the art museum (“Kunsthaus”) in Zurich.

Interactive Game play
This box expands visitors’ creative capabilities like observation, concentration and implementation in own constructive drawings which enhance a new way of self-learning in a playful manner. Here, Indulging a game into visitors action is one of the activities that allow a process of “knowing” and “liking” about particular art or a subject. While interacting visitor makes his own decision and moves. This focuses on helping visitors understand the story behind artwork.
Thus, building interactive playful games can be a powerful tool to build visitor engagement in Art museums. Identifying the factors that make them thier visit successful can significantly contribute to a museum’s long-term relationship with the visitors.

In Future
Currently, We are in a process to develop this concept for the schools and families. Soon, Museum Magic Boxplay can be interact through a mobile App  in Kunsthaus, Zurich.
